Infection Control

Course Aims:

This course on infection control will enable the learner to understand key issues relating to cross infection and cross contamination, and to identify at risk groups. It will highlight responsibilities of the worker relating to Health and Safety Law, COSHH and personal hygiene, including effective hand washing. The learner will have a better understanding of what infection

control is. They will be able to identify appropriate and legislation Act’s which relate to infection
